Draw a Portrait From a Model

Drawing portraits while the person is in front of you can be daunting! For me it is the biggest challenge you can have in art. I do not draw an egg and then fill in the features because everyone’s head is a different shape – thank goodness! I work from the axis in the centre and draw out, observing and training my eye to check the details as I draw. Have a go! It's easy when you are shown how!
