Acrylics - using Inks & Mixed Media

Level: Beginners
Instructor: Dee Cowell
Price:  £2.50

Painting in Acrylics allows you to be very experimental. I was inspired by the batiks where you use hot wax on material as a “resist”. When you batik, the wax cools and you dye the material, then remove the wax which shows through as white. The patterns created are very beautiful, so I am doing something similar using masking fluid, but if you don’t have any, a wax candle will do.
