Andrew Herridge began his involvement with the art world in the late 1980's, gradually moving from a full-time
involvement in the education sector to spending more time painting.  Mainly working in oils at first, later coming to
enjoy and specialise in the subtle vibrancy of watercolours and acrylics.
 
During the following twenty years Andrew developed a bright style with inventive paintings of boats, beaches,
people and their dogs, old aeroplanes, space rockets, castles, as well as birds and plants.  Now his unique work can
be enjoyed via gallery, commission or dedicated website.  He believes that children as well as adults should have
the advantage of experiencing original artworks in their own environment; this is reflected in the fact that his
paintings are displayed in the homes of people both young and old.
 
His artwork is collected in the UK and North America. Based in Berkshire, UK, Andrew Herridge has a full-time
involvement in painting and the art world.
