Acrylic inks
China saucers or paper plates to use for a palette
Water jar
Acrylic paints
Brushes
Paper towel
Water soluble pencils or crayons
Watercolour paper or acrylic paper

When you learn to paint with acrylics one of the wonderful things you will notice is the variety of colours and mixtures that it comes in. I like to use acrylic inks as if they were watercolours – but watercolours “on steroids” as the colours are so bright! This lends itself to painting things that are bright – such as parrots or flowers, or underwater scenes.
