The Role of Photography in Landscape Painting - Part 2

Level: Beginners
Instructor: Rod Jones
Price:  £2.50

The most satisfying pictures to paint are those that present you with a challenge. If you can identify the challenge in a scene at the time you see it, you can ensure that the finished result meets it.

Rod looks critically at two examples of scenes that presented challenges and discusses how these challenges were met.

The first of these is to show ice and snow in a close up scene, the second example shows how to alter the scene to help the picture.
