Simplified Perspective

Level: Beginners
Instructor: Dee Cowell
Price:  £2.50

Perspective in drawing is an optical illusion, and it creates the wonderful illusion of depth in your paintings. Some people battle to grasp the concept, yet this version is simplified to help you understand.

Do any of these, strike a chord? Objects in the distance are smaller than similar things nearby. Imagine you are in a desert and standing in front of a long straight road. As that road goes away from you, it gets narrower and narrower until it disappears and seems to meet at the horizon. See – it’s easier than you think!
