One of the wonderful things to do when you fist study watercolour painting is to go out and paint the landscape around you. This may involve painting trees. Trees come in many shapes and sizes and the challenge is to capture a likeness, make the leaves interesting to look at and the branches realistic. i.e. an oak tree must look like an oak tree.
